Lit from a safety zone, just off the turnaround on the beach
Celebrate Freedom 2014- Seaside Oregon
** NO TENTS/CAMPING ALLOWED ON BEACH
 
July 4th
11:00am Parade Begins  *see map below
Organized by Seaside Museum & Historical Society.
Look for the Uncle Sam Hat and Fireworks Show donation collectors- The Shanghaied Roller Dolls- Follow the last vehicle to the social
 
Noon - 4pm Old Fashion Social
Seaside Museum & Butterfield Cottage 570 Necanicum Dr.   503-738-7065 Free admission to Museum, Live Music. Fundraiser Food Booths, Silent Auction
Activity fees under $1 each: Continuous Cakewalk, Children’s Games, Raffle Drawings, Bingo
 
1:30pm Drum & Bugle Corps Concert on Broadway Field  (1400 Broadway)
Costs only $5 per person, Don’t miss this show featuring 4 corps.
 
Approx. 3 pm Stunt Kite Presentation - 
The Northwest SkyLiners will perform choreographed stunt kite flying maneuvers at the Turnaround on the beach
 
10 pm Fireworks Show begins, Tune your radio to Music Matters 97.9 FM for the music that accompanies the show.  Display designed and presented by Kriegshauser Family Pyrotechnicians. Music produced by KSWB 840AM GOLD
              
July 5th
8-11am “Treasure the Beach” Clean-up
Brought to you by The Beach Drive Buccaneers & SOLVE
Check-in Locations:  Turnaround,  Ave. “U” & Prom  and 12th & Prom
On July 4th Beach Drive Buccaneers will be handing out SOLVE trash bags during parade & on beach before fireworks show begins.
 
TAKE YOUR TRASH OFF THE BEACH WHEN YOU LEAVE! Bags may be left next to trash cans along the Prom
Bonfires should not exceed 3ft by 3ft. No digging of large, deep pits.
Do not bring fireworks into the Free Zone to the north and south of the Turnaround, inside the orange fencing.
