Oct 6, 2017 Update: Flying now through the end of this year’s flying season, now in October until the rains return, from the Troutdale Airport with flights into the Columbia River Gorge and surrounding countryside. Flights are by reservation or appointment daily weather permitting.
All flights are custom. Here are some of the routes available in the Gorge:
Traditional Barnstormer Special: a flight either over Troutdale and Gresham or north over Camas/Washougal is $150 for either one or two. Plus flight is little longer for $200.
Crown Point, Rooster Rock, and return down the Sandy River and the picturesque nursery farms. Flight time is twenty minutes and is $250 for one or two.
The Multnomah Falls flight goes past Crown Point and on to falls before turning back. Flight time is one half hour and is $320 for one or two.
On further to Beacon Rock this flight is more into the 'heart' of the Gorge and is highly recommended this flight is forty five minutes and is $420 for one or two.
The Bonneville Damn and to the Bridge of the Gods flight is the best deal and the best rate, goes up to the twenty five mile limit for these 'local scenic flights'. This ride is one hour and is $500 for one or two.
