Be Part of the Magic is an engaging fundraising event to raise money in support of CCC students working to complete certificate and degree programs. Interact with CCC education programs to experience the magic of learning at CCC. Food and beverages will be arranged by local community partners with entertainment by Seth the Magician and a live auction. Impact: The cost of tuition is only one of the factors limiting students from seeking a higher education and career development. While working towards their educational goals, CCC students may need to support themselves and a family or they may face unforeseen emergencies and personal hurdles. Financial Aid and scholarships cover designated costs for students but may not include books, work tools and other educational costs such as transportation, housing assistance and childcare. As the Foundation evolves its efforts to support students at CCC, we invite you to partner with us so we can ensure that cost is not a barrier to students who are working to complete a certificate or degree program. How to participate: Sponsorship - 5 levels are available with associated benefits. For Bronze level and above, additional tickets can be purchased at a sponsor only discounted rate. Community Partnership -Do you have a business and would like to partner with the CCC Foundation to promote a day or period of time when a percent of the sales would help ensure that cost is not a barrier to students? Submit a form by March 18 to be included in our ad in The Astorian, along with other online promotions. Attend event - Advance purchase is required. Tickets will not be available at the door.
