About Us

The Kathryn Riverfront Inn is a renovated upscale boutique hotel on the Necanicum River in Seaside, Oregon. Three blocks from the Pacific Ocean, the Kathryn reflects back on four generations of a hospitality driven family. Kathryn Day started in the hospitality industry in the early 1970’s instilling family values encompassing the principles of kindness, compassion and keeping your word into her daily life. Our hotel reflects the uniqueness that she shared with her guests with her one-of-a-kind spirit that made you feel happy and relaxed when you were around her.

The Kathryn’s design has incorporated accent elements such as reclaimed wood, copper, distressed leather and slate. Our bar and food services, coming 2021, will showcase a variety of signature cocktails, spirits and small food items. Our second floor dining area opens up to the river below, inviting the fresh coastal air in to relax you. Our renovation in 2020 includes upscale touches in guest rooms and common areas including glassware, terrycloth robes, 49” TV’s, carpet, in-room amenities and a bedding refresh.
