About Us
NW Community Alliance is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization that has served people with intellectual/development disabilities in Clatsop and Multnomah Counties for 45 years.
Residential Services
NW Community Alliance currently provides 24-hour residential care services through the operation of 13 group homes, 6 in Clatsop County and 7 in Multnomah County. We advocate for Independent Living in Astoria, Warrenton, Gearhart, and Seaside through our Supported Living Program, which offers medical services, transportation, meal preparation, shopping, cleaning and social activities.
Employment Services
Our employment services include job development and coaching with our community integrated employment program; and small group supported employment opportunities through our window cleaning, janitorial, yard care, and courier work crews. We offer employment path service training where the individuals learn valuable work and life skills through employment at our thrift store located in Astoria, which has provided quality used goods to the North Coast Community for over 30 years.
Community Integration
Our Community Integration Program is a person-centered day service that provides opportunities for activities and participation in the communities and fits the needs and wants of the individuals we support. We are based in the community helping the people we support to establish relationships.
